Good article, Sun....most of us would agree that a count at this stage can only be done with agreed-upon statewide standards....if it's going to be done at all..Gore's big mistake was in first shortening the contest phase and in not going for a complete statewide count right off the bat...maybe HE knew something

The Chicago Tribune has been excellent in distilling the issues and hollowness of the AlGore/Boies line.

On the other side, I can understand why people are dropping the NYTimes. The NYTimes, in their reporting and editorializing - if a distinction remains - have been so shamelessly partisan that they stand confirmed as really nothing more than an advocate for the Dem party.

Either that or the Dem party stands as their political arm.
