You are correct that the Bush tax cut is not high on the blacks priority list. Fairness and equality is their #1 priority. Apparently, they view a Bush administration less favorably than a Gore administration by a huge margin. Democrats are still the party of minorities, women and laborers. Republicans are the party of bankers, large business, stock brokers - the silk stocking set.
