Dean Kent's latest Industry update for December. realworldtech.com It's worth reading. One thing that I see as very encouraging is that the DYO enthusiast market seems to be all AMD. This leads to a better mothrboard quality / selection. The volume OEM guys use their own sources of motherboard, ot off the shelf. As a result, I believe the quality of AMD motherboards will surpass Intel market, which is good. The chipset situation seems to be improving, but everything is late. Any way you look at it, AMD 760, KM133, KT266, Ali, Sis - everybody is late. A bad news / rumor is that ClawHammer will most likely need yet another chipset, so we may go through this crap again 12 months from now. Joe
