Unfortunately, I am just as likely to try catching some falling knives (without stops) and then averaging down!
TQNT has by far been my greatest sucess-an initial $2000 investment has returned well north of $50,000. I tend to hold a core position in a company I like and get to know it pretty well in terms of fundamentals and stock price, buying when it looks cheap (to me) and then gradually selling. Sometimes I end up holding more and longer than I would like, and I rarely hit the top, but this has worked for me. I am also always aware that this has been a great market for the last few years and that it's often better to be lucky than to be good. Anyway, I'm semi housebound due to the snow in Chicago, hence the excessive verbage.
I do want to compliment Greg (since it's his thread I'm cluttering up)- his instincts seem pretty good.

As long as I'm taking up space, one of my other favorites (QCOM) looks to be sliding today. Any thoughts-anyone-on a target to buy more? Think it will pull back to 80?
