QCOM's license would die with the acquisition, and would have to be re-negotiated, as did VLSI's license with Philips.

I believe that Nokia knows that its handset biz will be hit big time by the Asians. No way they can keep generating the margins they indicate they will and gain market share. If they are hunting for a CDMA infrastructure supplier they must know that they need to be a total solutions manufacture like Samsung.

With only the handset biz all I can say is "Nokia investors beware!!!"
