The DIY folks are also likely to be people that others turn to for advice when purchasing a new system. I try to encourage others to choose AMD processors when asked but the lack of knowledge (on their part) often makes this challenging. At least it is easy to say that any Duron will outperform ANY Celeron significantly and Athlons Mhz per MHz are at least equal to the P-III.

Your advise about a disclaimer and not using this solely as an investment basis are appropriate for almost all of what people post here. So if Peter chooses to add one, it should be very brief.
