Considering that most of those 6 million votes were for Gore and Bush is cheating to win and has tainted the entire process maybe that is the fair thing to do.

I disagree. The founding fathers put that law in as a fail safe for this kind of thing.

A disputed election that is not resolved by the dead line.

Since we live in a Republic they have given the power to decide the election. To the elected representitives of the people of the state in question.

Because they have to answer to the people of the state in their next election.

Hmmm. Every FL vote count I've seen has shown Bush got more votes than Gore. Mere Demolib statistical speculation, which has been thoroughly discredited in not just one, but two separate Florida election trials, is hardly a basis to conclude that Gore got more of those 6 million votes.
