>>>It isn't a statewide position. Most Republican legislators come from Republican districts. Duh.<<<

You're awfully proud of your "duh," aren't you. I know you are--lol!

Republican districts, huh? OK, watch 'em diminish all over the nation, especially in Florida, if Bush 'takes' the presidency. I'm sorry you don't realize it, but by giving Bush the presidency, rather than letting him win it, GOPwingers will effectively have shot their wad, rolled all their dice and prematurely will have played their best (worst) cards to win.

I guess you think none of those Florida GOP legislators plan on running for statewide office? Well, if they do, they've got half the state against 'em right out of the gate.
Moreover, strong challenges will mount from Democrats against those GOPwingers who voted to 'hand' Bush the presidency.

Senate districts are not necessarily all Republican; and the House districts are not all overly unbalanced to the GOP side. Can't you see the Dem tv commercials: "Representative Johnny GOPwinger got to vote twice for president, while many Floridian voters--perhaps even your vote--never got counted even once..."

Yes, there will be tremendous defeats for the Republican Party in the future, if Bush grabs, rather than wins, the presidency.
