I don't think Bush would fear a "resume the recount" ruling if that is what happens. If the USSC orders Florida to be counted to exhaustion, the previous recounts would probably be thrown out and either a standard or instructions for Florida to set a standard would accompany such a ruling.

I'm basing this on their questioning of Boies yesterday.

Florida's voting system was not capable of delivering 100% accuracy on Nov 7, so that end is not achievable by any means. Perhaps a counting team from NASA or the Bureau of Standards and Measures could come close.

The partial recounts that were done prior to the revised certification dates were probably the worst case scenario for Bush.

If you want to set your watch to a millisecond of accuracy, don't use a sundial.
