Good point Rande!
I've been wondering myself about the recent timing of these rulings.
Big bounce here as I post.

I THINK they are trying to put together some compromise that nobody is looking for, maybe a recount with a standard
that will give bush the victory, but isnt the deadline for electors today? the delay would appear to be some attempt to throw gore a bone, not make it look like a slam dunk for bush, but the final result will end up being bush, dont understand the delay unless they are working out the "details" bottom line, it is going to get worked out and market wants to get onto fed rally, i will be buying the dip or sell on the news effect, (dip might be pretty brief) probably get news tonight, gap tomorrow, selloff, then we will be positioned for "fed rally"
market is just tired of going down now

Might be worth holding some stocks overnight.

Since Scalia's kids work for the GOP lawyers I doubt the SC's going to go Gore's way. Almost impossible to find anyone above partisanship these days. Gore has no time left to recount anyway. And the Fla Leg. stands in his way. Watch for Bush to "win" and the markets to finally take their mind off that mess. His victory may be tainted but it will be over. My guess anyway. Who knows?
