PartyTime, I still don't think the USSC will pull it off. It would just be too brazen.

I think either Kennedy or O'Connor will refuse to hijack the election.

Excellent and accurate post.

Who would have thought that it would be this difficult to get a manual recount in Florida after asking for one in a timely fashion, and demonstrating that it was appropriate? This has to be the first time ever that any political candidate in any state has used a partisan elected official's abuse of power, and then fought this extreme a legal battle, to abort a simple manual recount expressly contemplated by State law before it even began and then while it was going on. The worst part of which is listening to him and his supporters argue that these votes have already been counted several times, when in fact they have never been counted once.
