Oh, I would expect the conservatives on the court to uphold states rights in elections. And I would expect the liberals on the court to rule against state's rights wrt elections, and to interject federal rules.

I don't get it, it appears the opposite is happening. I wonder why that is? Could both sides have convinced the other side to change their spots?
