If AMD ships 30 million processors in Y2001, they'll be just fine...If they meet their target of 40 million, I'd have to think a runup exceeding the strength of last years when AMD ran from $17 to $97 is not entirely out of the question...Whether 40 million processors is in the cards is a function of both the strength of the overall PC market and of the strength of AMD's evolving product lineup...From my perspective the only "wild card" is the overall strength of the PC market as AMD's product lineup strength is a given, imho...Concerning the PC market in general, I'm with Mr. Sanders that it is an essential element at the hub of the electronic universe, and as such, will most certainly strengthen as global demand (China, India...) continue to join the wired world and as current users upgrade in Y2001!!!
