Tom, that would be a disaster. Just imagine: MSFT warns followed by warnings from ORCL and SUNW. Those alone could take Nasdaq to 2000.

Tom, MSFT might reduce expectations for future growth, but I would be very surprised if they miss the current quarter. Takes awhile to slow down such a big ship.

Only 10% of MSFT revenues comes from consumer PCs. I think if they were going to warn, they would have last quarter. The effects of boxmaker slowdown, if it were to impact MSFT, would have appeared before boxmakers slowdown became evident IMO.
