The basic stupidity of the arguments of this article go like this. Msft now get lots of revenue on a per license basis for the OSes. Linux companies will never grow to be MSFT, but Linux companies can make enough money to pay the bills and provide engineering services and product. Msft loses no matter what it does in the case of Linux. Msft can't sell it without losing sales of it's own OS. Anything that msft does to support linux will cost more in OS sales than gain in application sales.
