Lobbies and big money run DC, wait till GWB runs up against the AARP as he tries to "fix" social security. NRA, Tobacco lobby, the Pentagon holding him to increased defense spending. Patient bill of rights? not against the HMO lobby. All the while having to have a surplus, pay down the debt, cut taxes and improve education. I think GW better have some good advisors in the wings.
