FWIW no one seems to be paying any attention to the fact that we are going to be missing 750,000 bpd that we purchased from 3rd parties of Iraq's production. Let's say 750,000 per day times 14 days equals some decent supply drop. Next few API's could get hairy maybe.

When Gore called on Clinton to release the SPR, and when Clinton did it, I said "this may lose hime the election."

Not everyone in this country is so stupid as to be fooled by a transparent electioneering move like that.

(I voted for Gore for other reasons, but deplored the SPR thing.)
