You're joking, right?

One of the IN crowd? That's not how I choose my political affiliations and beliefs- by who I might find favor with- or who I think might do more for me. I try to vote my conscience, actually.

I have voted Republican on occasion, but overall, I can't get all that excited or inspired about making sure I get to keep more money and making sure other rich people get to hang on to more of theirs. We should be concerned about improving the quality of life for all people in this country. We should be concerned, as a society, about the schools our children- not our specific children, but our nation's children- attend. There is no glory or inspiration or grace in the me-first, conservative, country club ethics of the Republican party. We are the greatest nation in the world, and our heritage is one of boldness and idealism, not greediness and conservatism.
