The NYT originally reported his name was Ryan Mitchell. It was later discovered his name was Ryan Metzlar(sp?). I didn't note any testimony from him during the trial. If subsequent criminal charges are brought up against any of the parties involved, perhaps we'll find out. And judging from the comments of both the lower and high court, charges are possible.
