Cos You are talking as if the big CF could "know" and then somehow make "accommodation" to "needs" in accordance with that knowledge. This would seem to require personality and reasoning would it not? Sprinkle in some morality and you come close to having the God of the bible. Since you didn't capitalize "cosmic force" I fail to see how that differs from what the Zen Master did. Not that I would suggest you should. In fact I think God takes a very dim view of that sort of thing. How would you explain the emergence of personality from the impersonal? I can see how a Pan-whateveristic view could explain the possible unity of all things, but I'm fuzzy on how it explains the diversity aspect of the UNI-VERSE. If unity is not just the goal, but is in fact the true reality, then how did we get so intrenched in this illusion of separateness and what will prevent us from forgetting again, once we have realized our unity?
