I see no reason why this should be the start of a 1998 advance: no magical three rate cuts, much higher valuations, and an economy that's slowing much faster. We'll be lucky to avoid a recession next year; even if AG cuts rates next week, it won't hit the economy until at least June. So far the market has only priced in a soft landing; AG had better deliver.
