Ted. Its over because the USSC recognized as we all here on this board have, that the vote just simply was too close for any type of recount, hand ,machine, or by mystics;, and any recounting system would have been unable to determine a clear winner. I think in the court trial, the justices asked all three lawyers what their idea of a fair standard was, none of the three, including David Booles, could decide upon a fair standard. I still probably would have favored a statewide recount, and let the best crook win, however, the USSC verdict (no matter how much of a travesty Scumbria thinks it is) should bring finality to this, and encourage reform of the voting systems so we can get an accurate count in the future.

As for the talk that USSC should have stayed out, I don't buy that. Isn't that what the USSC is there for, to be the final word? If the USSC were to go and hide everytime a tuff problem came up, then what good is it?
