Thanks Steve, Defining "substantially identical" seems to be the thing. I've held off on this largely because I would get killed by the $2 spread on some of these (leaving a $5-$7 premium) Also, there's always that possibility the market will come back to them, so it maybe best to hold the course. Depending on how things look later, I might cover some at the end of the year for the loss, and just keep a tight stop on corresponding stock. Still thinking about it. BTW, Jumped on thread favorite, TWAV yesterday. Showing strong accumulation on TC2000 now. You'll all have to tell me when to sell (g). Jeff
