This is a sad day for America.

A very sad day. A black day.

I presume each county must now get identical machines or face a federal equal protection suit.

I'd bet this Supreme Court ruling, in effect, could be said to find quite a few states' elections are unconstitutional. I believe they have ignored in this particular case a very basic item: the very construction of Florida's election statutes. They have said this election and its processes in Florida should not have been conducted according to its own state statutes. This ruling is nothing short of extremely alarming.
