And with regard to Crawford Gordon of McFarlane-Gordon: mcfarlanegordon.com Crawford Gordon has 35 years of experience in the Canadian investment industry, having held positions in London (England), New York and Toronto. He began his career at Wood Gundy and then worked at Nesbitt Burns for 29 years where he became a vice president and director. He was one of the firm's top producers and a 10-year member of the Chairman's Council. In 1997 Crawford left Nesbitt Burns to join the newly created Gordon Private Client Corporation, moving to HSBC after it acquired Gordon Capital Corporation in 1999. He left at the beginning of this year to co-found McFarlane Gordon Inc. Crawford has been an individual investment advisor for the past 25 years and has successfully written all the appropriate exams. He has a B.A. (Hons.) from the University of Western Ontario and a C.A. from Clarkson Gordon.
