Even if you did "feel" for me, it wouldn't have mattered. You see, my candidate lost on November 7th. I voted for Nader. But this didn't stop me from defending Gore and I'll go to my deathbed believing he got screwed, that he should have gotten the recount the Florida legislature, in its law, stated he was entitled to have.

David Gergen, a long-time Republican analyst, just pronounced that Bush is in for an awfully rough time ahead and he had a very negative impression as to what a Bush presidency will look like.

Indeed, lots of pundits will attempt to restore unity, and Gore will even do his level best in a bid to do so...but this unity won't come. How could it?
