Politics aside...it was the right decision.

Now we can get back to stocks...

well, I will agree when its over, who cares. I however disagree any US Supreme Court justice would be tainted. You are besmirching the top court in the land in suggesting one is. All of those justices have some potential conflict. Scalia's kids not involved in the case whatsoever. Just because they work in same lawfirm - not an issue. Their are other examples on the liberal side just as similiar. I think the US Supremes have the highest level of integrity. But at this point, who cares - its over.

Hi AmericanSpirit: I bought some ESHR today at 1 1/4 (wanted to get something we agree on the table first!). I bought USIT, PSIX, and USIX near the bottoms as well and they put me in the black today. Also bought some XCED today at a quarter. Not going to get greedy with any of these and will only retain a few shares of each in case they ever fully recover. They are all very speculative IMO.

Now, as for partisanship...plenty to go around. I for one did not mind the principle of the hand recount of undervotes. However, I think any reasonable person would strenuously object to selected dem boards counting dimples, etc. Biased and unfair, as the USSC recognized by a 7-2 margin. I believe that the FL SC blew it by not addressing that issue adequately. But, perhaps a catch-22 (how could they set a standard without making new law?). Plenty of what-if's for Gore. It has got to be one big honking bitter pill for him to swallow. Nader will be the leper poster boy for the dem party for years to come. Maybe that kook Ventura will run in 2004.

Happy trading.
