Yes that brings up the concept of "Ahimsa"
Message 15007827

the idea of non-violence, non-harming of other living things, forming one of
the core beliefs of the Hindu and
naturally accepted and taught by the Buddha.
Man learning he doesn't have to slaughter things any more , to have a life .

Amazing that you can raise a fearless lion or a bear
from birth with tenderness and they may
become incredibly gentle beings to be around ...well
(bears will always be Bear, the market knows that)

but in every way all higher lifeforms are extremely similar...we share cortex, spinal column, brain, senses,
temperment and to lessor or greater degree --->Conciousness.

I look at everything and everyone as varying forms of this
one feature and expression.
That life can percieve , experience , move about , learn ,
feel and suffer.

look at the developement of a pig's embryo , and one in the uterous of a woman.

what do you see ?

This is one of the solutions of all life's mysterys....it is all based upon the same structure of experience. All life forms share in the same experience....more or less.

having and achieving "Compassion" is the highest thing this monkey can do..
