No U.S. Justice ruled on Harris' behavior. The 7-2 vote was relative to how the hand count was being conducted; the 5-4 vote was relative to the timetable of the present deadlines, effectively snuffing the case for Gore.

In the Harris matter, if you wish to think she was an innocent party in this, you're welcomed to be fooled.

Excellent point concerning Harris Neocon...in my view she'd have been, or any Democrat in her position would also have been, in potential legal trouble had she accepted biased countings late. Heck, she'd already accepted some.
