Isn't that what we got? Gore knows the votes didn't get him there, so he needed more -- dents, creases, and dimples. Finally, some da*** common sense entered into the picture. History will treat Gore/Daley/Boies harshly. A 40-year history of the Daley machine's election theft, come to a close by judicial decree, once and for all. Ironically, if they hadn't taken it to the extreme in order to try to legitimize it, they could have continued to get away with it for decades to come.

Morning Paul,

These folks have some vastly different opinions about what is fair - just like the rest of the country.

Would we want a Supreme Court that was always united unanimously on every issue that came before it. I want a group that will have differing opinions so that all sides are at least heard and addressed.

I am sure we are going to be struggling to make sense out of all of this for a time to come. Hopefully we will have a lot of good come from this. We should have a national standard set for all elections and we should have a modern voting apparatus that is simple and straight forward so that NO ONE can think it was confusing or misleading. Then this would never happen again.

Hopefully this will ease with time,
Joel
