<<more power to 'em. >>

Funny you should say that.

Tashi escaped from Tibet into India by climbing, with a guide and three other fleeing Tibetans, over the Himalayas. They climbed through snow up to their chests wearing ordinary clothing and sneaker-like shoes. They passed sportsman climbing with oxygen tanks and full gear. These people were horrified, sharing food with them and begging them, by gesture, to turn back. For the last five days of their two week journey they subsisted on snow. The detail of what they endured, and survived, is stunning. Tashi says it was only the power of His Holiness the Dalai Lama that kept her alive. She visualized his face in front of her, and kept walking toward it.
