Stevens was arguing for deference to the Florida Supreme Court,and suggesting the the SCOTUS was undermining confidence in state courts. However, the position is ludicrous, when the Florida Supreme Court failed to show reasonable deference to the circuit courts, and thumbed its nose at the SCOTUS by failing to address the concerns outlined in the first order to vacate and remand before ruling even more aggressively on collateral matters.....
