Actually, the vast majority of Americans have believed for several weeks that Bush won and Gore should concede. Over 25% of people who voted for Gore regretted their decision, based upon his behavior since the election. People didn't want him to sue for the Presidency.

But I think this whole thing is much larger than one election. It signals the end of the 40+ year old Daley vote counting machine, which has been used by Democrats over and over again, throughout the country, to steal elections at all levels. Finally, the Supreme Court has declared at least a significant portion of it unconstitutional. They might still have to deal with the selectivity of the initial partial test hand-counts, but great progress has been made.
Everyone has to be treated equally; no more of this "some are more equal than others."

And, most importantly, something that any honest fourth grader could tell us, the rules can't change after the game is played. Why is that so hard to understand?
