"It is truly amazing how dense the liberal press can be. Gore offered this weeks ago, and was flat out rejected by
Bush. Remember the "no legal basis for a statewide recount" argument?"

Gores statewide recount was to count dimples as i remeber it. He waited until after the deadline had passed.
BETTER Question for you--Why didnt Florida SC set standards(1990 Palm no dimples rule) for statewide recount?--ANSWER Because they were so partisan as to know that their man Gore could not win that way so they sent it back without guidance so Gore could slip into the lead. Can you imagine a worse result that Gore winning by 20 votes that way???

Bush could not make that decision. The FL SC asked the Gore side if they wanted a total statewide hand recount and they said NO...a major blunder. What were they thinking? Apparently that some court would see a partial with no standards as fair? What dreamworld were they living in?

RE:"The reason that Republicans always win is because Democrats are fundamentally weak minded."

Speak for yourself.

RE:"Clinton was the one exception to this rule, since JFK."

JFK, might be considered right wing by todays standards...
He did actually serve in the military and wouldn't have disenranchised them.
