While it now looks like there is a better than 50% chance that Dubya will steal the election, we democrats must keep an eye open for the silver lining.

While Gore's possible loss is a short-term defeat, we should all be grateful that, in the 2004 presidential election, we will be able to field a candidate that is universally admired for her courage, her wisdom, and her utter uncorruptability. A person of such high moral standards and qualities that even her opponents are forced to confess that she is the greatest public servant of the past century.
