it doesn't make sense for the market to rally...we get between 10-20 earnings warnings per day now, and the pre-announcement season hasn't even begun yet...goes to show how fast the economy is dumpster diving. of course, there's always hope that invoking the Greenspan put will deliver us from evil and allow us to go right back to speculation regardless of fundamentals...well, hope is a slippery slope....
