Dave, democracy falls apart when the Rule of Law is conveniently dismissed to achieve a result not provided for under existing laws and the Constitution.

I think that this thinking displayed by those who have less regard for the Rule of Law than "individual rights", can be blamed squarely on Bill Clinton and his pushing of the envelope for his own political and personal conquests.

Doesn't it bother you just a little that the re-count that did legally get going in PB was thwarted by Al Gore himself because he felt the canvassing board was too strict with their very reasonable standards.

Please answer this:

Should the lawyers for the candidate who is behind pick the standards for which votes count?
