There was a lot of lying going on during the campaign. I was disgusted with the whole process long before the vote. I don't trust Bush because I think he is an opportunist who is riding on his father's name. I live in Houston and I cannot think of one important thing that he has done as governor. I was not impressed with the Gore campaign at all, and frankly feel he deserved to lose the way he kept flopping around like a fish out of water. I voted for Nader, even though I would not want him for President. I simply want to see some candidate make a good showing that has not already sold out to special interests. Until we insist on campaign reform, we are destined to continue having the same old same old. And now, I am ready to let it rest and get on with the markets.
