FWIW, I shorted amat at 46.8 yesterday and will cover no higher than 40, and perhaps as low as 38, where I will go long. This is my final answer;>)

This is a ta driven move. I have basically given up on amat's fa, deciding that it is ALWAYS GOOD ANYWAY. The stock seems driven by the momentum in book to bill. Period. I have gone back years to come up with some ta indicators that have worked and I have found some safe ones, I think.I should have shorted at 80 based on the ta. Buy targets are 38 and another point to be determined later.

Let me add that these ideas are all stolen from one source or another, including folks who frequent this thread, but who may want to remain anon.If it doesn't work, I blame them.
