I have to say that I was impressed by the way the Supreme
Court cut to the heart of the matter.

For weeks we have struggled to explain to the other side, what seemed so obvious to us, that the selective handcounts were unfair. We always ran up against the stonewall, "Count every vote." When Scalia used a humorous barb at Boies on this mantra, the world began to make sense again. The decision of the court confirmed the rebirth of common sense.

I am amazed by the Constitution of the United States. It seems to have applied in this very obscure matter and dictated the right decision. My hope is reborn and my faith in the legal system has never been higher.
