A nice way of saying that you were simply stood up. :)

Yes. Considering I had my GSM Nokia in my pocket and StockHawk had that number as well, he couldn't even break the date directly to me. He chickened out and went for the home answering machine.... <ggg>

A quick question to all from Santa Claus.

Please respond by PM, but I've kind of skipped over all the posts on this board concerning Sony Playstations and the gaming space. However, my son has indicated he wants a Nintendo 64 for the holidays. I went to the "Super Duper Eletronic Widgets and Gidgets" store yesterday and was confronted with 3 platforms that all appear to be pretty well supported. Nintendo 64, Sony Playstation and Dreamcast. I know nothing about these platforms and what the longevity for any of them are, but any tips, clues or suggestions would be helpful. It appears the Nintendo has children's games selections which fits him at this stage in life. In addition, he has the Game Boy and there is a cartridge where one can run their Game Boy games on the Nintendo which would be nice considering the amount of games we've invested in already.

My personal favorite was the Dreamcast and the majority of the crowd was hanging around that platform in this store.

Regardless, any suggestions on which platform is the best and has the best longevity would be appreciated. Had it been just two choices (like Mac or PC), I could have dealt with it. But three entire platforms.....
