re:barriers

Ignorance is a barrier we must each overcome on our own.

" Members of the Congressional Black Caucus have been particularly angry about the barriers they said
African-American voters ran into at the polls and have cited
studies showing that the “undercount” of ballots, with no
presidential vote recorded by the tabulating machines, was
unusually heavy in black precincts."

If I was a black man. I would be mad as hell at that statement. Which says I`m to stupid and/or weak to punch out a piece of paper.

I really would.

This election wasn't perfect but there are some important lessons to be learned that can be applied for future elections.

1) Those Constitutional technicalities like "Equal Protection" can be a real pain in the neck when trying to alter the outcome

2) If you want your vote to go to the Democratic Candidate, don't punch the hole for Buchanan.

How do you know that more blacks opted to not vote for president than whites? They were faced with voting for a republican (which apparently is taboo if you are black) or voting for Gore, which should be taboo for anyone. Maybe they didn't want either.

If my assertion is not true, then you are saying that blacks are too dumb to punch a hole in a piece of paper.

Although Jackson and Sharpton and Wexler believe that, I DO NOT! It is an insult and it keeps people down.
