Hi polvster, I understand how easy it is to poke fun at these types of personality indicators. I'm sure they are less than perfect & can return quite different results depending on a persons mood & their desire to answer the questions as honestly as possible. I found the Personal Preference Profile that folks on SI are now taking to be quite interesting. However, I did find the preferred behavior characteristics of the Prime Minister are vaguely similar to the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator of an ENTJ temperament..... aptcentral.org skepdic.com Myers-Briggs Type Indicator is a well researched & studied Character and Temperament indicator. I took their temperament test prior to admission to PSU & again years later as part of our departments attempt to improve communications. In both cases my temperament was determined to be an ENTJ. keirsey.com FWIW, both the Personal Preference Profile & the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator results do tend to describe my preferred behavior. I've tried to use the results to try to understand how/why I do what I do. I also have used it to try to understand others better & to improve communication..... both ways. RE: "rationally idealistic... and analytically ideological" LOL, it actually made sense to me & I felt it kinda described a part of me pretty well :-o Sort of a reasonable mix of some potentially contradicting behaviors at play simultaneously, 'eh? I think the Prime Minister profile described my strong points & weaknesses fairly well. I find myself grappling with them in my life FWIW. ROTFLMAO :-) I just read what I have written above...... I am an ENTJ/PM at heart.... OOF :-\| As for your interesting test request. I'll take the risk of doing it for chits & giggles..... I will report results later.
