more politically active Yes, I will start right now by becoming active in my state legislative district - District 21 in the State of Washington which now holds the balance of power. In the recent election, there was a 49-49
split in the state house. A Republican legislator from my district has announced her resignation and a special election will be held. If the democrats can take that seat, they will control the state house, the state senate and the governers office. We already have 2 Democratic Senators and 6 Democratics Reps. Democrats will control the State of Washington. We can provide leadership for the rest of the nation.

Relax. If Democrats were more active than they are now, they'd be literally frothing at the mouth.

On the contrary, I think everyone who has been lulled into a sense of complacency will get out and vote next time; Republican, Democrat, and independents alike.

I think what we are witnessing is just the beginning of politics coming together between liberal and conservative and the lines are only going to get more blurry --at least from an overall candidate perspective.

It is my hope that this will quiet some of the loud voices coming from either extreme end of the right and left end of the spectrum and make our government focus on the real issues that affect a majority of Americans.

Hi Mark,<<I think this is a blessing in disguise. Every
democrat I know is going to be much more politically active
in the future.>>

I agree... You're going to see at least 110% voter turnout
in the minority precincts next time.
