Depends on what their "charter" is. Plenty of funds go short, just look at Fleck's fund, though his is pretty restrictive on who can get in the door. Helps if your name is Bill Gates along with your wallet size. -g- However, most funds are only long funds.

Take a look at ProFunds USPIX OTC ultra short. Approx. twice the inverse of the NDX. Go with one of the bigger on-line brokers and you can get in for less that 15K (fund req. initial minimum investment.)
