Scumbria, forget Florida. It was a lost cause, w/Jeb. Had Gore campaigned, even remotely in the midwest - and just won ONE state, he would be the next president. Michigan and Pennsylvania were won before the vote. He had time for middle-America.

Regards,

Dave

Scumbria, <I'm sure that most of the 40,000 votes not counted by machines were quite clear.>

That all depends on what your definition of "clear" is. Dimpled chad? Hanging chad? A hole with no chad?

I'd sure like to hear your definition of "clear," since the lawyers for the Democrats didn't offer any.

P.S. - I wouldn't have minded a recount of those 40,000 so-called undervotes. But without standards, the recount is even more unreliable as a machine count. Of course, a reliable recount is exactly what the Democrats don't want, since that would go against their plan of manipulating statistics.
