Yes, I read the Stevens dissent. The ending came across as emotional and not particularly fact based, IMO. My 2 cents is that Gore erred by forcing the delayed certification to Nov 26 with his gamble that he could mine enough votes by that time to take the lead, and erred again by contesting just the counties he won. Had he accepted the Nov 19th certification date and gone directly to a contest, requesting a recount of the entire state with standards, he'd have had a good chance.
