Hello Yaacov. Well, it looks like we are going a bit lower again. Wow, Msft warned after hours and things are going downhill. Let's hope it will recover by tomorrow. At least Adobe did well and will offset the Msft news.
What we need now is an interest rate cut next Wednesday. Maybe Al G. will help Bush with the economy. The energy mess in CA does not help either.

About getting the most votes. Last time I heard any numbers was about 2 weeks ago. There are about 2 mill. absentee ballots outstanding. Traditionally more absentee votes go to the Reps. Why have we not heard about those 2 mill. votes in CA and the rest of the country? Maybe Bush did get the popular vote after all. Have they been counted and if they have been counted, what is the outcome? Show me the votes before I agree with your wife. But in any case, when Bush was ahead before the election, Gore said: In this country we don't go by the popular vote.

And I don't want a President elected by dimples. Yes. Every vote should count, but a dimple is not a vote. Again. If every vote counts, where are the numbers from those 2 mill. absentee ballots? I would certainly like to know.

How about this? AOL/TWX deal approved by the FTC. All we need now is the go ahead from the FCC. One analyst mentioned today a target price of 100 for AOL in the not too distant future. I believe it was Moran from Jeffries.

The futures don't look too well at this time.

Yaacov. Talking about AOL/TWX. DIS was opposed to the deal. Here is an interesting story.
