NG demand should be considerably stronger this winter due to the power generation turbines that came online over the year, and the growth of the internet increasing demand for power. GE has been producing turbines 24*7 all year.

Then there is the fact that the last two winters have been mild and this one has so far been fairly normal.

Bottom line: I suspect the suppliers may have problems maintaing adequate line pressure due to the very low levels of working gas that will be available later this winter. Using electrical heat in your home as a backup to NG heat will NOT help in this case as many of the power plants will be experiencing the same problems. Hope I am wrong but will be buying kerosene for my space heater, just in case.
