Why is he so powerful? He only has one vote like every other senator. He isn't terribly persuasive, as evidenced by the continuous failure of McCain-feingold. Couldn't even influence a handful of Republicans. He can't override a veto on his reform bill even if it passes with the democrats. He lost. Just like gore. Wonder if we'll see gore in viagra or American Express commercials?knc
